I write about animals and pets and here's a few reasons why :
I have had a full lifetime of pets and animals. My mother is a Marine Biologist. She started my passion for aquatic life at a young age (if not the moment I was born...) When I was 4 years old we had sharks living in our home aquariums. I've peered into a reef tank before I could speak.
My mother set-up a goldfish tank in my room when I was a baby. I still have those goldfish today, but now they are much bigger, so they live in large outdoor pond instead of an aquarium.
My mother has accidentally been stung by a jellyfish, a lion fish and a rock fish. My mother and I have also fed wild manta rays together a gone snorkeling in the Bahamas.
For as long as I can remember, my family has always had dogs, cats, fish and birds. I have seen dogs, cats, fish, turtles, hamsters, bunnies, birds and more, give birth to plenty of babies. I have had experience with so many animals that I surely can't name them all, including : turtles, chinchillas, rats, mice, gerbils, iguanas, lizards, birds, dogs, cats, fish and other aquatic life (from sharks to scuds), tortoises, peacocks, goats.. I could go on all day but I think you get the point. :} Here you can see my aquatic turtles
