How to Get Mice Out of Your House Naturally

If you've noticed mice droppings or spotted a mouse in your house, you'll need to get the mice out quickly before they start a colony.

You might not notice that you have mice inside of your home until it seems too late but in reality an infestation of mice is easy to get under control.

Mice usually walk right into an open door, and it only takes one pregnant mouse to start a large colony of mice. After a mouse gets into your house, it may not be able to get back out. Then the mouse will be forced to live in your house at this point. Oftentimes there are so many crumbs and so much food inside of a house that a mouse would prefer to live there, rather than trying to survive the outdoors.

You'll know if you have a mouse in your home because mice droppings are large enough to see. You can actually see where a mouse has been, by following it's trails of droppings. If you only have one mouse in your house, the droppings aren't that easy to find, so you'll need to look for droppings daily until you're sure that the mice are gone.

If you have kids or pets living in your house, there is no way that you can use toxic chemicals such as rat poison anywhere near your home. Don't trust any chemicals or dangerous and lethal traps that claim to get rid of mice.

There is a natural way to remove mice from your house without using a mouse killing product.

Here you will learn how you can safely remove mice from your home.

How to Get Mice Out of Your House Naturally

Items that you'll need include :

* Non-Toxic, Sticky Mouse Traps
* Cleaning Supplies (Vacuum and Wash Rags)
* Cleaning Solution (Bleach and Water)
* A Large Cardboard Box
* Vegetable Oil
* Disposable Gloves
* Soap

Step 1

Keep your doors and windows closed and/or covered with a tight fitting screen, at all times.

Inspect the inside and outside of your house. Look for any entry points that a mouse may have used to enter your home. Patch up any holes or cracks in the interior and exterior of your house.

Step 2

Place sticky mouse traps on the floor, along the walls of your house.

Mice will run next to the walls, where they will get stuck to the sticky traps. Mice are nocturnal so set up these sticky traps before the sun goes down.

Step 3

Clean your entire house and keep it clean.

Vacuum the floors, check for food under furniture.

Don't leave any food or crumbs sitting-out where a mouse might eat it.

Step 4

Continue trapping the mice using sticky traps until there are no more mice in your home.

Step 5

Sanitize any areas where mice had been living or walking/running, such as on the floor, along the walls, in your garage, underneath or behind furniture, etc.

Use a bleach/water solution to clean any hard surfaces on the floor.

Vacuum the carpet and keep your house clean.

Tip :

* If you are having trouble catching mice with sticky traps, try moving the sticky traps around, adding more sticky traps and
  finally, as a last resort add a small piece of bait (peanut butter/bread) onto the very middle of a sticky trap.

Warning! :

* Never use Rat Poison! It's highly toxic, a small amount can kill a full grown dog or human, it's very dangerous and there is
  never any situation where the use of rat poison is necessary.

* Remember that wild mice can carry many diseases including infectious disease. Never handle a mouse unless you're
  wearing disposable gloves. Thoroughly wash your hands with soap after dealing with mice. A wild mouse might be so
  frightened that it tries to bite you, so when you're releasing the mouse, be careful, stand back and don't ever touch it.
